Frequently Asked Questions

No. SWC registration is done by Patrol, not individual participant. One patrol leader will register the entire patrol. You can add/edit/delete until the event date!

Patrol Leader Info:

Name, email address, phone numbers

Unit Type and Unit number

(Troop 1234, Pack 567, Crew 890, etc.)

Patrol Name:

Creativity is encouraged! Haven’t named your patrol yet? Just put “TBD”.

Campsite Choice:

Pick your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd campsite choices at Woodruff Scout Reservation. Enter only the campsite number, not the letter. (If you want a specific site letter, please put it in the comments and we will try to accommodate your request.)

See campsites page for a list of available sites. All campsites are assigned on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Exceptions: Campsite 6A & 6H are reserved for our Silver Claws, 2025 Honor and Spirit Patrols get priority campsite selection.

During registration, use the “comments” area to provide special information the registrar may need such as the name(s) of other patrols you would like to camp with, any medical needs, etc. We will try to accommodate requests but not guaranteed.

$30 per person

Payment is processed during registration through Tentaroo. Your patrol leader will pay for the entire patrol during registration, and you can add/edit/delete patrol members until the event date.

You may register more than one patrol! To register an additional patrol, simply return to the first registration page and repeat the sign-up. If you need to add people, go to the registration page and click edit.

Note: SWC games are designed for patrols of at least 6 members.

Every registered patrol will have a place at SWC. The benefit of early registration is preferred campsite selection! Campsites are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Registration is open until the event begins.

Your Patrol leader can register additional patrol members on-site at check-in.

Remember, each patrol member is required to provide a full registration packet including health forms. Be prepared!

  1. Your patrol’s registration sheet/patrol roster
  2. For each participant, TWO copies of the health forms, front/back copy of health insurance card…
  3. Organize documents in the same order as the patrol roster/registration sheet! (yes, the order matters.)

Registrations may be canceled through Tentaroo before the event. In case of snow/weather disruptions, patrol leaders have up to 30 days after the event to request refunds.

If you have any questions, please contact our SWC Registrar (Mary Johnson).

The number of platforms varies by campsite. Our camp map shows the number of platforms at each campsite.

Please keep in mind that some sites have access to power (think CPAP machines), some are close to restrooms/showers, some are close to event spaces…every site has its benefit. Some restrooms are closed during the winter season. Open restrooms are noted on the map but are subject to change. Please contact our Registrar with any questions.

During SWC 2026, the Dining Hall will be CLOSED for remodeling. Our Friday and Saturday night events (traditionally held in the dining hall) will be held in the pavilion by the Nunn building this year. Plan ahead! This will affect Saturday night’s table decorating contest. Patrols may opt out of Saturday dinner, if they wish.

In the event of inclement weather that deems a safety risk (Council decision), SWC will be rescheduled to January 23-25, 2026.
